I live in Brighton, a city which sits between the rolling south downs and the atmospheric ocean. My work has been inspired by these wild worlds on my doorstep, I enhance the deep vibrant colours of the glaze and bring out the rich dark iron from the clay body by reduction firing.

I combine different techniques and use heavily textured surfaces to create forms which have an organic feel, reflecting the rough yet elegant wilderness.
