GROWING ON THE SUCCESS OF POTFEST SCOTLAND OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, POTFEST IS PLEASED ANNOUNCE A NEW SHOW FOR 2025.

Potfest Scotland – Potfest in the City (Glasgow) will be an unselected show, offering a new opportunity for those up-and-coming artists to exhibit their work alongside the more established, Potfest regulars.

The show will be hosted by WASPS in their Brigait venue, the old fish markets.

Less than 15 minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station, less than 20 minutes from Queen Street Station and just an 10 minute walk from St Enoch Subway.

Over 70 artists selling their work on the run up to Christmas

POTTERS’ COMPETITION

At each of the Potfest shows, the potters are invited to enter a piece of their work that responds to a theme.

The theme for our potters’ competition at all of the 2025 Potfest events has been –

Getting there

The Briggait 141 Bridgegate, Glasgow G1 5HZ

If you’re arriving by car, there is car parking adjacent to the site – NCP King Street. NB – the site is on the very edge of the cities LEZ

Travelling by train or subway, the two closest stations are Glasgow Central (circa <15 minute walk) and St Enoch (circa <10 minute walk)

Payment

Please be aware that a number of the exhibitors may be unable to process credit and debit card transactions so we would recommend bringing cash and/or a cheque book as an alternative.

Access

While we will do everything that we can to facilitate ease of access, this event is held outside, on ground that is often uneven and on a grass surface that may make movement difficult. If you have any concerns or queries please contact us and we will endeavour to clarify any questions you may have.

Because this show is indoors, I’m afraid that only special assistance dogs will be allowed.
