Alexandra Breeze is a ceramic artist based in the Netherlands, working primarily with porcelain. Her work is rooted in architecture and shaped by touch, transforming buildings into tactile narratives. She creates porcelain tiles inspired by Dutch canal houses and international architecture, using imprinted textures and cobalt washes combined with transfers to reflect homes as places, shaped by memory and change.
Alexandra works directly into the clay surface, pressing and layering marks with a printmaker’s approach. Architectural details emerge through texture and relief, allowing light and shadow to play across each piece and inviting closer looking.
Alongside her studio practice, Alexandra teaches ceramics and enjoys sharing her process with others. She values the connections that form around workshops, where making becomes a shared experience grounded in curiosity, exchange, and human connection.
