2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens Penrith – Autumn

I am a Yorkshire based ceramic artist creating playful, characterful pottery inspired by the natural world. My work often takes cues from fruits, animals and organic forms, reimagined with exaggerated curves and a sense of humour. I am drawn to bold colour, soft shapes and pieces that feel friendly and tactile, inviting people to pick them up and smile.
I came to pottery later in life, finding clay during a period when creativity became both an outlet and a grounding force. What began as a way to reconnect with myself has grown into a deep love of making objects that feel joyful, comforting and full of personality. I work primarily with hand-building but have a range of wheel thrown functional ware, embracing small variations and quirks that give each piece its own character.

My aim is to make pottery that feels approachable and uplifting — functional, decorative, and full of charm.
