My work is about playing with different clay bodies and alternative firing techniques to tell a story. I am part of the Grit Studios in Stockport which is home to a wide range of artists from different crafts and disciplines. This aspect of community is something that I really value and influences my work.

I throw and hand build and make some functional tableware as well as decorative sculptures. I am consistently engaged in my practice of ceramics and fascinated by the connection to nature and material properties and the past. I try to work as sustainably as possible and nothing is lost. I would like to make my practice into a circular economy but am still working on this.
