2026 – Taking part in Potfest Suffolk – Haughley Park

I work in earthenware, predominately wheel thrown, and often with modelled or pelleted decoration.

I am interested in functional pots that demonstrate the plastic nature of the raw material and show the hand of the maker.

My aim is to create new work, at once both contemporary and traditional in spirit, retaining the spontaneity of the making in the finished pot.

Pots are decorated simply and directly, using a limited palette of coloured slips and glazes, raw glazed and once fired in a gas fuelled kiln to between 1060°C and 1100°C.
