2026 – Taking part in Potfest Scotland – Christmas

My simple, pod-like vessels are an expression of my love and connection to the quiet, emotive beauty of nature particularly of rock and stone. Each piece is hand coiled with a very grogged stoneware clay and then layered with multiple layers of oxides and glaze creating a unique, intricate, weathered and rock-like surface in each one.

In my work I hope to evoke the feeling of having found something hidden and beautiful in nature that is brought home and treasured.
