2026 – Taking part in Potfest South West – Shaftesbury

Nature is a significant influence in Elaine’s artistic life, primarily her deep connection to trees. She creates work that communicates a sense of balance and complexity using texture, colour, and form. Inspired by the lush woodlands and forests surrounding Dorset, her creations are predominantly hand-built, sculptural, and functional earthenware pieces. She uses white stoneware clay and hand-paints them using a palette of oxides, slips, and under-glaze colours.
