2024 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Autumn

Hannah Day hand-builds pots using a collaging technique, building up a patchwork of pieces from pre-prepared slabs. The surface of the slabs is layered up using texture and colour with slips and underglazes.

The work is influenced by Hannah’s interest in material objects and the way that they hold meaning for us. The textures in her pots are made using found objects, including discarded belongings and natural materials.
