2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens Penrith – Autumn

My ceramic practice focuses on slab-built pots and containers made from terracotta, designed to hold small succulents and indoor plants. I am drawn to the natural warmth and tactility of the material, allowing the clay to remain central to each piece. Surface decoration is created through mark-making techniques, used to add texture and subtle variation. These marks respond to the hand and the process, resulting in functional objects that celebrate imperfection, subtle detail, and the relationship between form, surface, and living plants.
