I am Helen Almond; I am originally from Lancashire but moved to the Isle of Man 14 years ago where I now live and work.

I have always been interested in art and started creating ceramics about 4 years ago. I love making functional pieces and embellishing them by carving the clay. My ceramics reflect the incredibly beautiful  and unique scenery that I am surrounded by.

I am particularly drawn to the sea and when I am not at work or making ceramics, I am usually off swimming around the coastline! There is a vibrant community of potters on the Isle of Man and I am lucky to be part of this very supportive group.
