2026 – Taking part in Potfest South East – Glynde Place
My name is Jess, and I am an artist based in West Sussex. My work is inspired by aerial images of the surrounding landscape, where patterns and textures reveal traces of time, memory, and human presence. These observations inform the creation of three-dimensional vessels that act as both sculptural forms and pictorial surfaces. I paint, draw, scribe, and scratch into each piece, building layered marks that evoke erosion, mapping, and remembrance. Influenced by historical architecture, my forms hold a quiet sense of structure and history. Each vessel becomes a unique artwork—capturing a moment, emotion, and sense of place in time.
