2026 – Taking part in Potfest Suffolk – Haughley Park and Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Autumn
I make wheel-thrown and press-moulded tableware from stoneware clays. I work with simple forms which provide the blank canvas for my patterns. Decoration techniques all involve carving through or scraping back, with sgraffito and inlay being my favourites. Inspiration has various sources: the folk pottery of my motherland, Hungary and the country’s waving landscape silhouettes; the grasses and flowers of the summer meadows feathering in the light wind. My landscape architect background adds the love for regularity, order and intricate details.
