2026 – Taking part in Potfest Scotland – Scone Palace, Potfest in the Park – Hutton-in-the-Forest and Potfest South West- Shaftesbury

Located in rural Warwickshire, Kim Ford’s work is decorated with textures, applied slips and oxides, using predominantly ash glazes. The aim is to produce pots which are tactile, visually appealing and pleasing to use or observe. Materials for glazes, slips and firing are sourced locally wherever possible. The pots are mainly gas-fired, a typical firing taking around 14 hours and reaching a temperature of 1300C.
