2026 – Taking part in Potfest Scotland – Scone Palace

Working in the Highlands, I create functional ceramics with textures and colors inspired by quiet moments in the landscape around me.

Using different wood ashes, oxides, wild clay, slips, and neutral glazes, I aim to create tactile, varied surfaces that highlight the beauty of natural materials.

I use slow, systematic methods like tri-axial and line blends to test simple combinations of materials. Through this careful, methodical approach, I work to create surfaces that retain a natural spontaneity and that have a quiet, reflective quality which link to subtle memories of light and place.
