2026 – Taking part in Potfest South West – Shaftesbury and Potfest Suffolk – Haughley Park
I am an avid believer that beauty and utility should go hand in hand. My work is made with the intention that it be used, loved and enjoyed everyday.
Drawing inspiration from British studio pottery tradition, all my work is thrown on the potter’s wheel in a stoneware clay, trimmed and any handles or additions attached.
I work with a palette of dolomite based glazes, using iron as the only colouring oxide and layering to achieve a soft gradation of colour suited to both traditional and modernist interiors.
I fire to around cone 10 (about 1280 Celsius) in oxidation, making the finished pots oven, microwave and dishwasher safe – though hand washing is preferable.
