2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Melton Mowbray

Having dabbled with clay in my early years, I re-engaged with Ceramic’s in 2015 alongside practicing Architecture. I focuses on wheel thrown forms with random patterning of textured and drawn surfaces. With simple white porcelain vessels, I play with the language of architectural technical drawings, unravelling the line in the spirit of Paul Klee’s ‘a line is a dot taken for a walk’. With similarly shaped stoneware vessels, my exploration of tactile surfaces encourages users to experience form and texture through touch. In making these vessels, my background in Architecture and Ceramics become inextricably linked through drawing and making.
