2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Spring and Potfest in the Pens – Melton Mowbray
Persephonesdesigns is the creative vehicle that combines the compatible but different talents of Meryl Thomas and Brian Dowrick. Together, at our small studio near Ross on Wye, we produce ceramics that are at one with our beliefs, and manifest our interest in art, mysticism, folklore, folk art and the natural world. Through our collective efforts, and utilising various techniques, such as hand painting, sgraffito, sculpture, resist and glaze, we produce small numbers of high quality decorative ceramics. We hope our work excites the same level of wonder and enjoyment in others as we experience in the creative processes involved in producing them.
