Nastassia Blahadava

Nastassia Blahadava is a ceramic artist and sculptor currently based in Manchester. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics. She has exhibited in galleries throughout Greater Manchester. She is a member of the Clay Studio Manchester ceramics community.
Her work is primarily inspired by the beauty of nature and the environment. This is particularly motivated by her concern for the future due to the effects of climate change and the many other environmental impacts humans have had on the planet. She is especially pleased to use clay as a medium knowing that this is an ecologically friendly material created by nature.
Her goal in her projects is to visually portray this modern conÔ¨Çict between the natural world and the human-made world in an interesting and provocative way, to create complex forms that demonstrate the uniqueness of natural phenomena often invisible to the human eye. In her work this conÔ¨Çict takes the appearance of sometimes simple unspoken forms and sometimes it’s just chaos.
