2025 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Melton Mowbray

Working from his studio and gallery in South Yorkshire, Nigel produces stoneware pots, often Japanese inspired, which he fires in his large self constructed wood-burning kiln. Most work is wheel thrown and altered in some way. Some pieces are slab built then finished on the wheel or made with a combination of throwing and coiling (“Onggi”). Pots are mainly decorated with home made ash glazes.
