2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Park – Hutton-in-the-Forest
Relationship to the feel and texture of a landscape translates into the work you will see at this show. But it’s also the process of handling and exploring qualities of the clay which gives each piece its vitality and character. An open and intuitive approach to making, supported by grounded technical applications, has led to energetic & lively surfaces. The experience of mastering my material and learning through life and the people I meet, through teaching and exhibiting extensively in the UK and overseas, are intimately entwined. I enjoy the satisfying dynamic and energy exchanged when teaching students, or selling a piece to an enthusiastic collector – that’s when my making cycle is fulfilling and complete.
