2026- Taking part in Potfest in the Park – Hutton-in-the-Forest

Richard Bideau has been producing fine porcelain forms with crystalline glazes for over 25 years. His work combines skills obtained during his early career as a chemical engineer and a lifelong association with pottery originating with his mother.

Crystalline glazes are extremely challenging to work with, the effect is very sensitive to changes in glaze chemistry and firing conditions. Richard has developed and perfected his own glazes through years of meticulous research.
