Rosa Bond Ceramics
2026 – Taking part in Potfest South East – Glynde Place
Rosa Bond studied Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art and worked as a TV and Film editor before discovering her love of clay. She now works from her home studio in Faversham, Kent.
Rosa makes playful, functional vessels for plants and flowers. Altering thrown forms and combining techniques her current work is a modern interpretation of a traditional flower brick. Rosa fires in an electric kiln using a palette of unglazed iron rich clay clay, slips and glaze to give a depth of surface and highlight the textural properties of the making process.
“When I’m making pots for plants, I’m conscious that I must leave room for them: The pot should be complete and also open to possibility, to collaboration.”
