2026 – Taking part in Potfest South East – Glynde Place and Potfest by the Lake – Compton Verney
Working from her studio in South Yorkshire, Sarah creates handbuilt abstract stoneware sculptures. Her approach is intuitive, trusting the material to help guide the process to produce work that conjures ideas of the body, evoking the visceral, whilst also suggestive of landscape, fossilised remains or a relic of a bygone age – familiar, yet strange, uncomfortable, intriguing. Often combined with found objects and repurposed materials (rope, wood, rusty metal), the work is playful and tactile, and may incorporate moveable parts, sound elements and even be wearable.
