Vivienne Ross’s ceramics explores themes of family, relationships, and the things we love, celebrating the beauty found in life’s simple moments. Influenced by the traditions of folk art, each piece is individually handmade using red earthenware clay. Techniques including press-moulding, coiling, and throwing ensure every work is unique. Surface designs are created using coloured slips, engobes, paper stencils, and sgraffito, adding layers of texture and narrative to each piece.
