Taking part in Potfest in the Pens Penrith – Autumn

I throw functional stoneware pots, balancing form and texture from the clay with glazes that provide contrast and colour. The intention is to create surfaces to be touched and enjoyed in use. A rich glassy glaze on a heavily grogged body works for me.

Throughout 2025, I was fortunate to have been part of the inaugural Leach Year programme in St. Ives, Cornwall, which supported and challenged in equal measure. 2026 is the year to build on that experience and to make pots with intention.
