2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Autumn

Pottery is my way of slowing down, listening inwardly, and reconnecting with my creative self. At the wheel, I find space to be fully present and follow what feels right. Each piece begins with an idea, and is shaped just as much by intuition, patience and care.

My work is predominantly wheel-thrown stoneware, with a strong emphasis on balance, refinement, and finish. I am drawn to clean, considered forms and I enjoy improving pieces further through turning, trimming and fettling. I believe the little details matter and that a well-finished piece carries a sense of calm and intention into everyday use.

While most pieces are electric fired, I also enjoy raku firing for its expressive finishes and the sense of spontaneity and unpredictability.

Each piece is made individually, slowly and with attention, allowing it to develop its own character. It is a labour of love. My work includes decorative pieces such as bottle kilns, vases and tiles and functional pieces such as mugs, jugs, condiment bowls and trinket dishes.

Pottery allows me to create from the heart. My hope is that each finished piece carries a small part of that care, presence, and essence into the hands of its new home.
