Emily Doran Pottery
2026 – Taking part in Potfest South East – Glynde Place
Emily Doran makes wheel thrown tableware in a coastal palette from her East Sussex garden studio. She has been working with clay for a decade now since she went back to college to retrain as a potter after an initial career in arts marketing.
She makes intentionally small batches of pottery, working to be the opposite of mass produced tableware. Her focus is primarily on form and product design using traditional skills and craftsmanship. She uses her own mix of glazes in a calming palette and creates bold reactive stripes on all pieces.
You can find her pottery for sale in a many indie shops and galleries around the UK. Her pottery has been stocked at some top London retailers including Liberty and the National Portrait Gallery.
