I wish to evoke feeling, movement and intrigue in my work.
By layering coloured porcelain into simple plaster moulds and carving patterns along the form I am looking to create tension and harmony, revealing the layers and patterns held within. I work in a modular way and cast multiples of the same form, altering and joining them together through line

Lighting is also used in aspects in my work, creating an exaggerated and vibrant effect to what can seem quite ordinary. My work is semi-functional and often figurative, exploring aspects, feelings and characteristics within myself.
