John Bavester & Becky Ayers – JBEK Pottery
2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Spring and Potfest in the Pens Penrith – Autumn
We’re John Bavester and Becky Ayers, the creative team behind JBEK Pottery, based in Northamptonshire. As members of a local community studio, where John also teaches, we’re passionate about crafting high-quality, wheel-thrown stoneware pottery that enhances everyday life.
Our designs are inspired by the blend of traditional English and Scandinavian aesthetics, focusing on simplicity, functionality, and beauty. We create pieces that are as enjoyable to use as they are to look at, with tactile surfaces and subtle glaze effects that bring out the natural beauty of the clay.
Whether it’s for eating, drinking, or simply relaxing, our goal is to bring something special to the everyday moments that make a home feel like home.
