I am a UK-based ceramic artist working primarily with stoneware, exploring form, surface, and material presence through hand-built vessels. My practice balances a respect for traditional making processes with a contemporary approach to colour, mark-making, and surface design.

My work is characterised by the use of vibrant, expressive glazes that bring energy and individuality to each piece. I embrace subtle variation and evidence of the hand, allowing the material and process to shape the final form. The vessels I make are tactile and decorative, inviting interaction as well as contemplation.

I am self-taught as a ceramicist and began developing my practice after leaving a twenty-year career in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist. I also hold a degree in English Literature, a background that continues to inform my sensitivity to narrative, rhythm, and balance within my work.

I have exhibited at ceramic fairs across the UK and shown work in multiple galleries nationwide. My ceramics have been collected and sold both in the UK and internationally. I continue to develop a practice rooted in thoughtful making, material honesty, and a commitment to colour-driven, contemporary ceramics.
