“I love working with clay. The smell of it, the feel of it in my hands, and the process of making, drying, decorating and firing is a joy.

I’ve been captivated by clay since my teens and did my degree in Ceramics at Loughborough, now in my 50s I make hand thrown and slab made pottery cats, birds and other creatures in white earthenware clay, and each is hand illustrated using majolica techniques.

I also adore encouraging new potters who visit for workshop sessions”.
