Hi, my name is Marta and I am the creator of “Under The Stairs Pottery” Studio. I was born and raised in Szczawno-Zdój, South-Western Poland. In 2005 I moved to the UK and I am now based in Cheshire, North West of England.
I have been creating ceramics since 2010 . Taking inspiration from nature, as well as traditional Polish Pottery.
All material, colour, glaze and techniques are developed to underline each other. All processes are done by hand, all my Pottery is made in either Stoneware or Groggy Clay and hand thrown on the Potters Wheel, making each piece of pottery slightly different and unique.
My pots are designed to be used on a daily basis or loved on that special occasion.
