2026 – Taking part in Potfest in the Pens – Penrith Autumn

I use stoneware clay to wheel throw and hand build both functional and decorative pieces. As an artist still searching for my clay footprint in the world, I create a range of pieces. My favourites to make are my elegant long neck vases made on the wheel and adorable mini vases made on a mini wheel.

I was born and raised in California but married a British man and moved to England in November 2021. Graduating as an early child development major in California right before moving, I saw myself becoming a teacher and a few years down the line, an occupational therapist. Little did I know how all of that would change in just a couple years. I joined a pottery studio called Colchester Makerspace to help myself adjust to the new country. However, I soon fell in love with the world of clay. A few months later, “Mina Creations” was born.

I am still new to this journey, looking for my signature look through my artwork. I make what brings me joy and hope it will bring the same to others. I do some throwing, hand building, and mini wheel throwing. I believe my artwork displays my level of patience and gentle touch.
