2026 – Taking part in Potfest South West – Shaftesbury

I work in Terracotta, handbuilding and firing to Earthenware and use a combination of coloured slips, scraffito & monoprinting to create decorative surfaces finished with a simple transparent glaze. My work is heavily ‘vessel’ based but explores the themes of containment, safety, belonging and home. The symbols, expressive marks and colours I use throughout my work are all meaningful and borne of my exploration of these themes. I prefer not to prescribe a function for much of my work but produce and finish them in such a way that decoration is not their only function.
