2026- Taking part in Potfest in the City – Glasgow

I’m a studio potter based in West Lothian. I’m relatively new at pottery, having worked semi-professionally with clay for the last 3 years, and having been educated in clay at the Edinburgh Design School in 2023. Although, I feel like I have been deeply connected with the art form of ceramics for most of my life, having I grown up hearing stories of my mother working with clay in New Zealand when she was a teenager.

I work with white stoneware to produce functional and beautiful homeware pieces. I’m drawn to sharp geometric shapes, and beautidul earthy colours, which guide my glazes. I want my pieces to be aesthetically capturing, and a comfort to use, as though it is an extention of whoever is holding them.
